The Philips Pan Head Screw is made up of stainless steel. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys, which contains minimum of chromium around 10.5%. The presence of chromium offers corrosion resistance to stainless steel and helps to resist scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also maintain the excellent toughness. By considering on all the properties of stainless steel is chosen to use Philips pan head screw for a particular application. This screw is being used in many anesthesia machines in medical field such as Aestiva 7900, Aestiva MRI, Aespire View, Avance CS2, ARC Aestiva 7100, ARC ADU and ARC Aespire View etc. A screw is a type of fastener, in some ways similar to a bolt typically made of metal. Screw can be used in any application that requires joining a number of different materials together including plastics, rubber and various metals as well as plywood. Pan head types have cylindrical heads with rounded edges and flat bearing surfaces. Their low head height and large diameter provide increased driving power. Phillips drive types have a cross-shaped slot and are used with Phillips drivers.
