Product Overview

The Tube Heater Door Activator is used as a spare part in spring tube assembly in Giraffe™ OmniBed Care station which comes under the modality of Maternal-Infant Care. This tube heater door activator is made up of acetal which is a thermoplastic made from POM (Polyoxymethylene) resin. Acetal has excellent dimensional stability and is easy to machine to close tolerances due to its unique properties. These properties include moisture absorption, high tensile strength and low creep. Acetal’s physical properties remain constant in a variety of environments and in temperatures up to 180º F. These factors, along with its excellent abrasion resistance, make acetal plastic one of the most widely used engineered plastics on the market. Acetal plastic is a popular option for replacing parts that are traditionally machined from metals. The GE product is an innovation which fits well into versatile customer needs. The part is diligently designed for superior performance and reliability. It is securely packed inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit and labeled with details about the product, Quality Assurance (QA) seal and shipment details.
