Product Overview
O-rings are circular gaskets designed to be seated in a groove and compressed between two or more parts thereby creating a seal at the interface. They can be used as seals in medical equipment. Buna Nitrile is one of the most widely used O-ring elastomer compounds. It is a composition of Acrylonitrile-Butadiene and can be referred as Buna or NBR. It offers excellent sealing and mechanical properties at relatively low cost compared to other materials. It has good resistance to range of fluids, thus makes it preferable for the places where the ordinary rubber cannot be used due to their reactivity with fuel and oil. Buna Nitrile O-rings are available in different colors and with compounds for specific applications.
