Product Overview
It’s a 32 bit PCI single chip Ultra 2 SCSI Controller (SYM53C895A) with auto-sensing of LVD (low voltage differential) or SE (Single ended) SCSI connection which can support upto 80Mbytes/sec transfer rate using Wide Ultra 2 SCSI (LVD Mode) and 40Mbytes/sec in SE mode. On-board SCSI temination supports both LVD (Low Voltage Differential) and SE (Single Ended) modes of operation automatically and are selected under software control. This controller can support up to 16 devices in LVD mode or 8 devices in SE mode SCSI signals are accessible via 68-way SCSI-II front panel connector as well as rear I/O via the PMC P4 rear connector. This controller confirms to PMC standard IEEE P1386.1 and is RoHS Compliant.
