Product Overview

The RJ45 Crossover Cable is 10 ft in length, which is used in Patient Monitoring devices and other applicable systems. The RJ45 is a type of connector commonly used for Ethernet networking. It looks similar to a telephone jack, but is slightly wider. Since Ethernet cables have an RJ45 connector on each end, Ethernet cables are sometimes also called RJ45 cables. The ""RJ"" in RJ45 stands for ""registered jack,"" since it is a standardized networking interface. The ""45"" simply refers to the Number of the interface standard. Each RJ45 connector has eight pins, which means an RJ45 cable contains eight separate wires. A closer look at the end of an Ethernet cable, the eight wires are visible, each of which are of different color. Amongst the eight wires, four of them are solid colors, while the other four are striped. The crossover cable being used in the assembly is a CAT-5e cable, which support 1000 Mbps ""gigabit"" speeds. The CAT-5e cables cut down on crosstalk, the interference between wires inside the cable. The crossover cable is a type of twisted pair copper wire cable for LANs (Local Area Network) in which the wires on the cable are crossed over so that the receive signal pins on the RJ45 connector on one end are connected to the transmit signal pins on the RJ45 connector on the other end. These crossover cables are used for networking two similar devices directly, without using hubs or routers. These parts are diligently designed for high Performance and reliability. It is securely packed inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit and labeled with details about the product, Quality Assurance (QA) seal and shipment details.
